Our story: rocking the island for over 15 years
Following a 10-million-dollar investment programme, the Cayman Islands Brewery was founded in 2007. The company built a state-of-the-art brewery with a fully automated brewhouse plus kegging, canning and bottling lines. From the start, the goal was to deliver world-class products that are unique to the Cayman Islands. Our beer range has won many international awards and is firmly established in the Cayman Islands. The entire company is committed to environmentally friendly production and distribution, including returnable bottles.
Our growth
Since 2016 the brewery has invested over a million dollars in expansion. A new warehouse created an additional 6,500 square metres of beer storage.
The latest
In 2018 the tap room and offices were expanded to house a workforce that doubled in five years. In early 2019 another 105-hectolitre fermentation tank was added, bringing the brewery to twelve tanks. CIB is Caymanian-owned, and its stakeholders remain committed to producing quality products in the most environmentally friendly way possible.
